What is Georgia Pediatric program?

GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program) is a Medicaid Program that provides services to medically fragile children in need of skilled nursing care with NO COST to the family. Services are provided in their homes & communities.

In-Home Program

The Georgia Pediatric In-Home Nursing Program services medically fragile children, under 21 years of age. Children must require skilled nursing care and currently be receiving physician ordered services to be considered eligible for this program.

Medicaid & Katie Beckett

GAPP services comes at NO COST to members of Medicaid or Katie Beckett. The Katie Beckett waiver takes the parent’s income out of the picture and bases the decision on the child’s need.

We come out to your home to sign consent paperwork and to gather other required information
Agape Family Healthcare services uploads paperwork to GAPP (GAPP has up to 30 days to approve)
Agape Family Healthcare services receives a decision from GAPP Agape Family Healthcare services contacts you to schedule the Start of Care or to discuss the Appeal process

Private Insurance

Contact Agape Family Healthcare services with insurance information to check Private Duty Nursing benefits/eligibility
The prior authorization process is started
